Hello! On April 21st, at 11:25 am, I lined up in Hopkinton to run the 118th Boston Marathon! After four hours, thirteen minutes, and twenty seconds, I crossed the finish line. Last Monday was truly the most extraordinary experience of my life.
I know that many of you monitored my progress that day and also wished me well. I was thrilled to see many friendly faces as I ran by, and to know that many more were out there (even if I could not see them).
Furthermore, I wanted to take the time to again say how thankful I am for your support throughout this monumental endeavor. Because of your contributions, I have raised over $8,400 for Team Eye and Ear and Operation Airway.
I hope that you enjoy the pictures below that my father snapped as I ran by him at Mile 18 on Marathon Monday.
Again, thank you for helping me reach the “finish line.”
With infinite gratitude,
Here I am with Dr. Hartnick and some of the Operation Airway Team.
