1. At the end of Chapter 36, Moose’s parents receive the call that they have been waiting for. WHO did they receive a call from? WHAT was the call about? WHAT decision has been made? 2. At the end of Chapter 38, Piper asks Moose if he and his family are moving back to Santa Monica. WHY do you think Piper is asking this question? HOW do you think she feels about Moose now and WHY? 3. HOW does the book end? Are you surprised by the ending? WHY or WHY not?

In Chapter 34 Moose’s mother invites Piper to Natalie’s birthday party, but says “no” when Piper suggests inviting some other kids.
