A book I read this year was “Undead” by Kirsty Mckay. If I could ask her any questions I would ask her “how did you become inspired to write this book?” the reason why I asked this question is because it is such a different type of book because of its settings. Also “why did you write this book?,” because I wonder if she wrote it for someone in particular. The other question would be “how did you come up with the characters for the book?” The reason I would ask her this question is because the character have such different personalities but they still survive.

A book I have read this year that I would choose to interview the author and ask him three questions is Gary Paulsen who wrote the book Hatchet. Firstly, I would ask him why did you not have him reunite with his parents after he was found after living months in the wilderness. Secondly, I would ask him why he chose to have the plane crash land in a jungle and not someplace else like the ocean. Lastly, I would ask him why did you choose to have Brian’s mother give him a hatchet. I would ask these questions because those were some of the questions that went through my head as I read the book.

A book I have read this year is Kiki Strike. If I could ask the author questions one of them would be, how did you come up with the ideas for the story? I would ask her this because the story is so unpredictable and imaginative it seems like it would be very hard to think of. Another question I would ask is, where did you got the idea for the character Kiki Strike, is it based off someone you meet or you can connect with? I would ask this because Kiki Strike is not like any characters in any other book I have ever read, she is very unique and has an interesting personality. The last question I would ask is, do you have a personal connection with New York City? I wonder this because, the whole book takes place in New York City and talks about it.

If I could ask the author of Catch 22 these are three questions I would ask. I would ask if any of the characters are based on real people because they have very unique personalities. I would also ask what the inspiration for the whole Washington Irving, and Irving Washington thing came from because it is very original and funny. Lastly, I would ask why is the catch called catch 22 and not any other number? This is because there are no other catches other than catch 22.

If I could ask John Green three questions about Paper towns I would ask him what the where he got the idea for paper towns because it makes sense the book but I would never come up with that.I would ask him who Margo Roth Spiegelman is based on because I known he based Looking for Alaska is based on his high school and I doubt he came up with that alone. I would ask him if Quinton’s character him or someone he knows because it seems that he based it on someone.
