In the book Unfed by Kirsty Mckay, the most significant lesson I learned was that even if you are different it is ok. Also it can sometimes be a gift to be different. The other lesson I learned was that different personalities can get along and persever.

The most significant lesson I took away from Paper Towns is don’t get stuck somewhere you don’t want to be. In Paper Towns Margo gets stuck in her little subdivision and her high school where she doesn't want to be. Staying there drives her crazy and she need to find to get out and she is much happier once she get’s out.

From the book Foul Trouble by John Feinstein the most significant lesson I took away was to never let the best situations get to your head. Firstly, I took this away because Terrell was offered a ton of money but he chose to do what was best for him. This is important because in life many people may try to bribe others and they should know to do what is best for them.

A book I have read this year for an outside reading book is Unbroken by, Laura Hillenbrand. The most significant lesson in this book is to not give up, that things could always be worse and people always have the potential to make these bad situations better. In this book, Louie was put in some horrible situations where the normal person would have given up and maybe died. Since Louie did not do this he made it through the tough times and became a better person as a whole because of it.

A book that I have learned a significant lesson from this year was Lord of the Flies. The lesson I have learned from it is that sometimes you need to rely on people to get things done, even if you may not like them. This is a recurring theme throughout the book with Ralph and piggy having to work together in order to stay alive.

The most significant lesson I took away from Paper Towns by John Green is don’t get stuck somewhere you don’t want to be. In Paper Towns Margo gets stuck in her little subdivision and her high school where she doesn't want to be. Staying there drives her crazy and she need to find to get out and she is much happier once she get’s out.
